Participation requirements

Nomination requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.

  • Belong to one of the following 02 groups:

    • Currently working at major Vietnamese corporations or MNCs in Vietnam that are ISB partners and nominated by the company according to the program’s nomination letter template OR

    • Nominated by graduates from MBA Talent/EMBA programs or by C-Level of major Vietnamese corporations.

  • Fully participate in all selection rounds conducted by ISB & WSU Vietnam.

Academic requirements:

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics from a university recognized by Western Sydney Vietnam; OR
  • Graduated with a non-economics Bachelor’s degree or from universities listed under Section 2 (*) (as per Australian regulations) and will be required to complete the Pre-MBA Foundation Course (**) before joining the main program.

(*) Based on the Australian Government’s university ranking list.
(**) The Pre-MBA Foundation Course covers five subjects: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, and Marketing.

Based on each applicant’s profile, individual cases will be reviewed and detailed information will be provided in the Offer Letter.

English requirements:

  • Hold a valid IELTS Academic score of 6.5, with no component score below 6.0, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency requirement must take the WSU Vietnam English entrance exam and achieve the minimum required score before proceeding to the selection rounds of the MBA Talent program.

MBA Talent Application Process

Step 1: Participate in the Info Session about the MBA Talent program.

Step 2: Review all relevant information and make your decision (be mindful of the application submission deadline).

Step 3: Check the schedules for the selection rounds, iPT/PT tests, and other assessments. Ensure your availability to participate in all required stages. Scholarship eligibility is only granted to candidates who complete all selection requirements.

Step 4: Obtain confirmation through a Nomination Letter from the company (with stamp and signature of authorized person)/or have a Recommendation Letter if you are an independent candidate.

Step 5: Prepare all required documents and scanned copies to complete the online application process.

Step 6: Submit the online application form by March 31, 2026

Step 7: Send a confirmation email to pso@isb.edu.vn immediately after submitting your application.

Email content:

  • A screenshot confirming the completion of the online application form.
  • CC the email to your company’s HR Department.

Note: Your application will only be considered valid upon the completion of all seven steps as outlined.

FAQ

WHAT HAPPENS IF APPLICANTS DO NOT ACCEPT THE ADMISSION OFFER ON TIME OR FAIL TO MEET THE ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS?

If you do not accept the admission offer by the specified deadline or fail to meet the enrollment conditions, your application process may be affected. We need sufficient time to complete the necessary procedures. Failure to accept the scholarship within the given timeframe will be considered a refusal of the scholarship. This means you will not be eligible to join the MBA Talent Program for this academic year.

WHAT CAN APPLICANTS DO IF THEY CANNOT MEET THE PROGRAM DEADLINES DUE TO URGENT REASONS?

If applicants cannot meet the program deadlines, please inform us as soon as possible and provide supporting documentation regarding the stated reasons via email. We will review each case individually.

IF I AM A BUSINESS OWNER, CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?

It is entirely possible if you meet the program’s eligibility criteria. You will need to submit relevant documentation related to your company’s activities. We will review each case individually.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY COMPANY DOES NOT AGREE TO SIGN THE NOMINATION LETTER?
Besides company nomination, you can also apply when nominated by MBA Talent/UQAM EMBA Alumni or C-Level.
WHEN SHOULD I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?

I HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE, BUT IT IS NOT RELATED TO ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS. AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM?

Absolutely! However, you will need to submit your degree and transcripts. We will evaluate and arrange for you to participate in the necessary Pre-MBA courses to supplement your foundational business knowledge when entering the main program.

MY ENGLISH CERTIFICATE HAS EXPIRED. DO I NEED TO RETAKE THE TEST?

It is necessary. You can refer to the English language requirements for the program in the English Requirements section.

UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES CAN I BE EXEMPTED FROM THE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST?

If you have graduated from an international university in Vietnam or completed an undergraduate program taught in English abroad within the past 2 years, you may be exempted from the English proficiency test. However, you will need to submit a soft copy of your bachelor’s degree issued by the university for further consultation. We will review and respond to each specific case accordingly.

CAN I SUBMIT THE ENGLISH CERTIFICATE AFTER THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?

If you do not meet the English language requirements at the time of application, you may register for an English proficiency test (for a fee) at the school. You can then provide the required English documentation later as requested by the program. Therefore, you need to ensure that they submit their application on time to receive further guidance.

HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ADMISSION APPLICATION?

After the applicant submits their online application, we will review the documents and respond within approximately 7 working days. Additionally, after each deadline, I will send a confirmation notification to all applicants regarding the status of their applications.

THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM IS ACCREDITED BY WHICH UNIVERSITY? IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE DEGREE CERTIFICATION?

The MBA Talent Program is designed and delivered according to the curriculum of Western Sydney University, Australia. The degree will be awarded by Western Sydney University and recognized globally, with no distinction between the qualifications of students studying in Australia and those studying in Vietnam.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE CLASS SIZE OF THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM?

For a class in the MBA Talent program, there are an average of 45-50 students.

THE LEARNING METHOD OF THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM?

The learning approach combines in-person classes and online learning. However, we always prioritize in-person learning to ensure that the students have a conducive learning environment and opportunities for peer interaction and exchanging ideas among themselves.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM?

The MBA Talent program is designed to be completed in approximately 2 years, including 10 courses and 1 dissertation.

ARE THE CLASSES OF THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM ORGANIZED ON WEEKDAYS OR WEEKENDS?

All classes of the MBA Talent program are scheduled in the evenings on weekdays or on weekends. The detailed timetable will be provided to the students before the start of the program.

WHAT IS THE TUITION FEE OF THE MBA TALENT PROGRAM?

The tuition fee for the MBA Talent Program in 2025 is 360,000,000 VND.

IF I RECEIVE A 50% SCHOLARSHIP, HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PAY THE REMAINING TUITION FEE?

MBA Talent 2026 tuition fees will be divided into 6 installment payments with the estimated schedule as follows:

– Enrollment fee: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 10/06/2026)
– Batch 1: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 01/10/2026)
– Batch 2: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 01/01/2027)
– Batch 3: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 01/04/2027)
– Batch 4: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 01/07/2027)
– Batch 5: 30.000.000 VND (Deadline: 01/10/2027)
– Batch 6: 30,000,000 VND. However, this payment will be offset against the enrollment fee that participants have paid at the beginning of the program.

CAN PARTICIPANTS DEFER THEIR STUDIES DURING THE PROGRAM?

Participants are allowed to defer their studies once for a maximum of one year. During the deferral period, participants will not be able to participate in the MBA Talent Program but will receive assistance in transferring to another MBA program at ISB upon their return. Participants are encouraged to discuss any specific program regulations with the program management team before deciding to defer.

IF I AM AWARDED A 50% SCHOLARSHIP BUT CHOOSE NOT TO ACCEPT IT AND DECIDE TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT YEAR'S SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION FOR A CHANCE TO RECEIVE A 100% SCHOLARSHIP, WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

If you have been awarded a 50% scholarship for this year but choose not to accept it, you will not be eligible to reapply for a 100% scholarship in the following year. However, you can still participate in the program in the next available intake.
